What is DS Graphics doing?

W
e are equipped with a state of the art recycling center in

our bindery facility that allows us to recycle 1,155 tons of processed paper.

With this equipment we also recycle 28 tons of cardboard, 44 tons of

aluminum, and 6 tons of paper dust from bindery and shred processing.

All wood pallets are taken from the facility for post processing.

I
n addition to these internal measures, our vendor list

is carefully chosen based on a company’s management

of their own sustainability eforts. We have

partnered with ecologically certiied vendors for our inks

and other print products as well as companies to launder

press rags and properly dispose of waste chemicals.

I
n 2010 our commitment to the environment became even stronger

with our certiication by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the

Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and the Programme for the

Endorsement of Forest Certiication Schemes (PEFC).
